Participation by exhibitors and buyers alike has been constantly increasing ever since the show was launched in 1994.

This year’s exposition is in collaboration with the Department of Tourism (DOT), EquitableCard and Philippine Airlines (official credit card and official carrier, respectively), WG&A SuperFerry and Globe Handyphone.

PTAA executives said the travel show keeps getting bigger each year and covers pretty much every aspect of tourism. The event also serves as a venue where diverse cultures are showcased. The 3-day event likewise features some of the world’s best known brands in travel and retail.

A flagship project of the PTAA, the TravelTour expo was founded to foster unity in the travel industry and to promote the welfare of its members and the traveling public. PTAA, on the other hand, is the largest travel association in the country, widely recognized by international airlines, hotels, resorts, insurance and cruise companies, and works closely with the DOT, Dept. of Foreign Affairs, Philippine Conventions and Visitors Corporation, Bureau of Immigration and Deportation, Ninoy Aquino International Airport, and various embassies and consulates.
