The Department of Tourism (DOT) regional office here is inviting visitors to come and join the most exciting festivals to be undertaken this month in the Cagayan Valley Region.
These festivals include the Feast of the Sto. Nino Shrine at San Gabriel Village in Tuguegarao City which features a nine-day novena on Jan. 8-16 in honor of the Child Jesus.
Other highlights of the festivity include the most-awaited Sto. Nino “Carosa” (or carriage) Parade on Saturday, Jan. 17, to be participated in by hundreds of Sto. Nino devotees carrying beautifully-dressed Sto. Nino images displayed in different types of showcase. The parade passes through the main streets of the city starting from the provincial grandstand.
