No less than Senate President Manny Villar graced the opening ceremonies of agri and aquaculture trade fair tagged as Pabulhon Festival, one of the highlights on the 8th annual celebration of Maasin City Charter Day, Saturday, August 9.
Senator Villar appreciated the local government of Maasin City for its efforts to support agri and aquaculture development thru the holding of trade fairs every year. This is a way of promoting more production in agriculture, he said.
He noted that the activity is truly helping the farmers and fisherfolks and contributes in the alleviation of poverty in the community. (more…)
