The Philippines is Known as a beach haven and spa paradise for celebrities and those in “the know,” the Philippines has unveiled plans to showcase its unique tourism offerings and many UNESCO World Heritage sites to a wider audience through participation in a series of 2009 events beginning with The New York Times Travel Show, Feb. 6-8, at the Jacob Javits Convention Center on New York City’s West Side.
