BACOLOD CITY, — Preparations are underway for this year’s MassKara Festival 2007 in Bacolod City slated next month.
Bacolod City Mayor Evelio Leonardia said the festival will kick off on October 1 with daily activities and programs.
Its highlights will be on October 18 to 21.
Information dissemination and awareness about Bacolod’s tourism, economic and investment attractions and potentials, as well as the MassKara street dancing and other activities are being undertaken by the festival organizer, the Silver MassKara Festival Organization, Inc. (more…)

SURF Company Billabong announced that this year, it will secure sponsorship of the Billabong Cloud 9 invitational Philippine surfing at the island jewel of Siargao, Philippines in September.The three-year deal ensures that Billabong has naming rights sponsorship of the Philippine’s biggest surfing event until 2009.
