President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo will be the guest of honor and keynote speaker in the opening ceremonies of the 10th Busig-On Festival and the 208th foundation day of this municipality on Monday, September 1, at the Labo Sports Plaza, here.
According to town Mayor Winifredo B. Oco, the President will lead the ribbon cutting for the formal opening of the Labo Tourism Trade Fair and Exhibit Center located in-front of the Labo People’s Park. “This Center will showcase various local products and alternative livelihood of Laboeños.”
The chief executive will also visit Museo de Labo after which she will conduct a dialogue with representatives of various sectors: farmers, cooperative, business, academe and local leaders of the province of Camarines Norte. (more…)
