The Philippines thru the Department of Tourism will participate in the China International Travel Mart on November 19 – 23, 2008 which will be held at the Shanghai New International Expo Center in Shanghai, China.
Currently DOT is inviting all DOT-accredited establishments to join the important activity. For this year’s participation, DOT has reserved 90 square meters for the Philippine Booth.
The DOT will also hold a sales presentation and networking session with dinner and cultural show on 18 November 2008 in Suzhou (exact venue to be announced) which will give participants the opportunity to have business to business sessions with the travel trade and media.
Interested participants should signify their intention with the DOT not later than October 31, 2008.
The China International Travel Mart is an annual event held alternately in Shanghai and in Kunming. As the largest professional travel mart in Asia, CITM has drawn the attention of people in the tourism industry worldwide.
Participants in CITM come from all sectors of the travel industry including international and domestic tourist organizations, travel agencies, hotels, airlines and related travel companies.
The CITM Organizing Committee is sparing no effort to invite, through various channels, buyers with strong competitiveness from China (including Hong Kong SAR, Macao SAR, and Taiwan Province) and other countries and regions in the world, to participate in the mart. Strict participation conditions and invitation procedures will guarantee the quality of buyers, so that the participants will surely enjoy the great benefit at CITM
