It was our second day of our Pasigarbo sa Sugbo Festival coverage in Cebu and our itinerary was pretty much loaded from Sun-up till sundown. Part of our Day 2 itinerary is a Lechon feast at CNT Lechon. It was hot and sunny when we visited the restaurant which was located right in front of SM Cebu. Upon arrival, we saw the restaurant veranda full of occupied tables and chairs and we thought right away that our lechon hunt was over but to our surprise, a table for 3 was vacant and waiting for us inside the restaurant.
After securing our seats, I immediately went to the counter to order some of their specialty foods. I have to get a number since a lot of people are waiting for their turn. After waiting for more than 10 minutes, I was able to order 3/4 kilo of Lechon, Ginisang Ampalaya, Cola’s and lots of “puso” rice. Puso in Cebuano, or Ta’mu in Tausug is made from rice that has been wrapped in a woven palm leaf pouch which is then boiled. Read More >> CNT Lechon : Cebu Lechon at its Best!

The lechon is delicious, It’s the best lechon I had tasted so far. The skin was very crispy while the meat is very tender & tasty. Try lechoncebu.com

Lechoncebu.com’s lechon is very delicious. It doesn’t need any sarsa (sauce) to make it tasty. I am very much satisfied with the juicy meat & the crispy skin. It is indeed a quality lechon that every Filipinos’ crave shall be intensely satisfied.

It’s fortunate that there is already a lechon company here in Manila that is trully Cebuano–owned by a Cebuano and taste very much the same like the lechon served in Cebu:
Manong’s Tasty Lechon Cebu (I think there is Cebu in the end–I forgot) Tel 7032133, 0908-3237727.
Im from UK but I appreciate Lechon very much. I have tasted CNT and it’s awesome also. I ate a whole kilo all by myself. Boy! I think Im a Filipino now. Hehehe.

My filipina girlfriend introduced me to filipino food and honestly half of the food I have tasted are really not worth dying for–except for lechon. To hell with colesterol man! Hahaha.
My girl kept ordering from this guy MANONG’S TASTY LECHON CEBU(tel 7032133 or 0908-3237727) and boy oh boy it’s like a piece heaven. Order in advance though or you could be on a waiting list.

di ka talaga magsasawa sa pagkain ng lechon dahil sa kasarapan nito.

Oo nga. If nasa Cebu kami, doon talaga kami sa CNT omoorder pero if we need it here sa Manila, we just get it from Manong’s Tasty Lechon Cebu kasi dito na rin nila niluluto. Same Cebu lechon and same price lang din naman. 7032133 ang tel number. Nawala ko ang cell number ng may-ari eh. Kayo na magtanong.
