Comfortable and supportive footwear is incredibly important, particularly as you say when taking long walks and hikes, the last thing you want is back ache and blisters!
I have never used Crocs before, I hike alot in Wales around the mountains and rugged hills, would they be good in those conditions do you think?

I must agree with you. Those shoes are highly recommended for a cofortable walk during all day.
