Hip hop artist apl.d.ap (a.k.a. Allan Pineda) of the Black Eyed Peas recently met with Ace Durano, Secretary of Tourism, to discuss possible joint efforts to promote the Philippines to global Filipinos and foreign tourists.

Talks are in place to make apl.d.ap a Philippine tourism promoter. The DOT and the marketing arm of the Black Eyed Peas are further collaborating on other activities to encourage the young travel population to visit the islands through music.
