Philippine Department of Tourism invites British divers to plunge into the Philippines

The country’s underwater attractions stood out in the recent London International Dive Show, touted to be the largest expo for the diving community in the United Kingdom. The Philippine booth presented the diverse marine life and aquatic adventures surrounding the islands.

Representatives from the DOT’s partner tour operators and dive resorts successfully closed transactions with their British counterparts and diving groups. A fully-hosted Philippine underwater adventure for two was raffled out to exhibit visitors.

The DOT’s participation in the London International Dive Show aims to encourage repeat visits and longer stays by more tourists from the United Kingdom. The U.K. is currently the top provider of foreign arrivals from the European region.
