Tuguegarao City — The Department of Tourism region 2 office bagged the Best Booth award during the recently conducted 2nd North Philippines International Tourism Fair held at SM Clark, Pampanga.

The DOT booth bested that of the other regions because it showcased the major destinations the Cagayan Valley Region could offer.

Also displayed at the booth was the life-sized tarpaulin picture of the Blue Water Caves in Barangay Sta. Margarita, Baggao, Cagayan which captured the attention of most of the visitors during the fair.

The Blue Water Caves as the name implies is a deep, clear and pristine body of water that one crosses to reach the lavish virgin cave.

The site according to DOT is suited for educational trips especially during summer. It’s also a pleasing site to visit among local and foreign tourists who love to see and appreciate the beauty of nature.

Meantime, the 2nd North Philippines International Tourism fair was a venue to showcase the products, services and tourist destinations of the different provinces and regions within the North Luzon cluster.

It was a meeting place for sellers and buyers who mean business.
