mouse deerThe mouse deer is known as “Pilandok” in Tagalog. It is small and has a brown coat with black and white stripes. It is found in the Philippines only in Balabac island, south of Palawan. The mouse deer roams actively during the night and hides out inside the forests during the day. It is one of the country’s most endangered species.

    So, it’s the size of a mouse? Interesting. Here we have full sized deer, never heard of the mouse deer.

    yes its as small as a mouse or we often call it here as Rat… but it looks like deer… you better come here in the Philippines and see a lot of wonders…. smallest monkey (primate) biggest and smallest bat… biggest flower and more…
