Carabao Island in Romblon: The next Boracay?

Carabao Island, part of San Jose town south of Romblon, is a 15-minute boat ride from the smaller island of Boracay. The island has the same white-sand beaches and pristine waters that can be found in Boracay. Surprisingly , A Korean real estate company invested in Carabao Island and they will start constructing the “Carabao Island International Airport” on July 2007. The said airport was expected to be bigger and better than the Boracay Airport. Carabao Island is now being eyed as the “Next Boracay.”
