Everything’s Here For You - 2007 Philippines Travel Mart

With the call, “Everything’s Here for You!”, the Philippine Tour Operators Association (PHILTOA) reels off with the 18^th Philippine Travel Mart, the year’s most exciting, one-stop reference and experience on Philippine travel delights. 

The 18^th Philippine Travel Mart is set for September 7 to 9, 2007 at the Megatrade Halls of the SM Megamall.

PHILTOA, the country’s largest association of tour operators and major proponent of Philippine tourism promotions, highlights the country’s diverse tourism attractions and features as a striking appeal for travel around the country.

PHILTOA president Joselita Pestano said this year’s PTM brings the focus on the thousand and one ways to enjoy the country’s beautiful scenes, attractions and facilities.

“Everything’s Here for You” is the adopted theme to emphasize  the PTM’s distinction in the market as the country’s one-stop reference on tour packages and the various components of travel such as transport, accommodations, dining, banquets and convention sites, traditional and new media marketers  and promoters.

“This year’s Philippine Travel Mart reflects the dynamic linkages of tour operators, facilities and services providers, as well as national and local governments to weave pleasant travel-related experiences for foreign and domestic tourists as well as other sectors like professionals, businessmen,’ added Ms. Pestano. 

At the PTM, buyers meet sellers; convention planners and incentives managers of corporations update on promotions and new packages of convention sites, resorts and airlines; students get a feel of what lies beyond island upon island; young environment lovers and nature-sports enthusiasts plan on new routes and adventures to check out; families simply get to spend good times together, going from booth to booth of cultural escapades; and  travel bugs get to affirm their next travel destinations. 

Yvonne Y. Pascual, 18^th PTM secretary general, stated that travel-related businesses and agencies, as well as travel enthusiasts will find the travel mart as the must-go event for updates, networking and honest-to-goodness business.
