Koronadal, South Cotabato — HALAL literally means permissible according to Hukum Shariah or Islamic Law.
Halal refers to that which God has made lawful. Its opposite, Haram, refers to what is forbidden.
The parameters have been designed for health, safety and benefits on economics of all mankind, regardless of race, faith or culture.
It covers a broad scope such as:
Food-anything that we partake in our daily lives must be Halal.
Its opposite Haram, means anything that can cause harm of hazardous to health.
Non-Food-personal hygiene products such as, bath soap, toiletries and leather products.
Source o income must be from halal origin and free of usury. In the commercial, all goods and services, markets, transactions, currencies, and other activities come from the judgment of HALAL and HARAM.These parameters include caring for the environment, the value of currencies and fairness in all commercial transactions.
