hi there! just want to wish everybody good luck on the tourism endeavor. i've been away for so long. left the country in 1976 and just came home in 2000. went to schooll with konsehal oca bermudez at um tagum. been pals since we were in primary school at magugpo. anyway, when i came back in 2000, i tried to get hold of gemma cruz araneta re ideas on tourism. i lived in la., san francisco, new york, tennessee, florida(naples) for 15 years and now lives in durham north carolina since 1995. the closest i got was the secretary that would not give me the time of day." send me the plans and suggestions" thats all she said. needless to say, i was disappointed. anyway, i hope that i could be of assistance as far as the tourism venture is concerned. i am a concept designer as well as a landscape designer by profession. having lived in those places esp. florida, i can surely let you know of how it can be done. please let me know if i can help. i also want to thank mayor uy for hiring my brother (edwin redoble). it is time to be united in such a positive undertaking. there is so much that can be done to promote tourism. i was a second generation pioneer in broadcasting(1969) before i left for the u.s. i sure know a thing or two as far as marketing and advertising is concerend. i also grow up in politics. the late mayor carmelo porras was my uncle. regards to all. angel "bong" redoble
