Dedicated to encouraging new visitors and return travelers, as well as welcoming home Filipino-Americans, “The Philippines: Explore. Experience. Return.” aims to promote tourism through the promotion and education of all that the region has to offer. The online “Free Flight Giveaway” promotion offers residents of the U.S. and Canada the chance to win FREE airline tickets for travel to the Philippines to experience its natural and manmade wonders, age-old traditions and multifaceted culture.

“The Philippines: Explore. Experience. Return.” program was recently launched during the annual Fiesta Filipina celebrations in San Francisco, CA. The first “Free Flight Giveaway” awarded 50 roundtrip airline tickets (for a list of winners, visit www.experiencephilippines.ph) The third and final airline ticket drawing will take place in September, awarding the remaining 100 tickets.

The second phase of the program will launch later this year with the PDOT’s “Out-of-the-Box” promotion that will award a fully-furnished condominium unit, discounted hotel accommodations, tour packages and “balikbayan” boxes (visit www.experiencephilippines.ph to find out more!).
