Ms. Margie Moran. I admire her beauty, elegance and intellect. Above all, after winning Ms. Universe, I applaud her for using her influence to be a change-agent in society by advancing her advocacies on housing and livelihood for the underprivileged as well as peace and development in Mindanao.

WHAT’S THE BEST THING ABOUT JOINING BB. PILIPINAS?
It would have to be learning to appreciate the value of perseverance. Joining this pageant entailed a lot of patience and hard work. I have truly gained even more respect for beauty pageant candidates.

WHAT IS THE BEST THING ABOUT BEING A FILIPINA?
As a Filipina, I am able to imbibe values and traditions that are unique to our country. I am proud to be in a culture where the roles of a Filipina in society continue to evolve as times change.

HOW DO YOU STAY BEAUTIFUL?
By staying positive because it allows me to smile everyday and exude an inner glow. With this attitude I become more appealing to others. Being beautiful transcends the physical appearance and is more of a reflection of what radiates from within.

IN YOUR DICTIONARY, HOW DO YOU DEFINE A SEXY WOMAN?
A sexy woman is one who is comfortable in her own skin, confident and carefree. On top of that, a woman who is clever and articulate strikes me as very sexy.

WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE DESTINATION IN THE COUNTRY?
Pristine, white-sand beaches, whether it be in Bohol, Palawan, or Davao. I love the sun, the sand and the sea! I enjoy the bohemian lifestyle I am inescapably drawn to when I am at the beach. It is a stark contrast to the modern and fast-paced urban living.

Carla Balingit because I have met her in person and she has the loveliest personality. She exudes great confidence that does not intimidate anyone. She’s also beautiful and a great role model to everyone.

Beautiful of course! Being smart can be acquired through difference sources such as books, media, and through experience. Being rich, on the other hand, can be acquired through hard work and perseverance.

The great opportunity that comes with it. The opportunity to make lifetime friends. The opportunity to further my career. The opportunity to be of help to others and to be an inspiration and a role model. The opportunity to know myself more and become a better person.

WHAT IS THE BEST THING ABOUT BEING A FILIPINA?
The best thing about being a Filipina is that you can be at par with the rest of the women in the world and still be a woman of character.

HOW DO YOU STAY BEAUTIFUL?
By exuding a kind and warm personality and attitude to everyone. In this way, I can be beautiful to them because they’ll like me. After all, being beautiful is not just about looking good in the outside, its also about showing our goodness in the inside.

IN YOUR DICTIONARY, HOW DO YOU DEFINE A SEXY WOMAN?
A woman is sexy when she’s confident and content with who she is and how she looks. She may be very fat or very thin but she will always look sexy when she thinks she does.

WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE DESTINATION IN THE COUNTRY?
Ligao, Albay, Bicol, other than seeing a great view of the Mayon Volcano, it is also the hometown of my father where he always welcomes with warmth and love.

WHO IS THE FIRST PERSON YOU’D CALL AFTER WINNING THE CROWN? WHAT WILL YOU TELL THAT PERSON?
I’d call the person who never believes that I would make it and tell him the “good news” and perhaps change his attitude about me.

I used to say “I want to represent the Philippines in the Miss Universe Pageant,” but recently I’ve researched about the Miss World beauty pageant and their cause inspires me. They are involved in a lot of charity works that focus on children’s need, etc. This is what I want to get myself involve in. I want to make use of my time in helping the children. But saying all that, I’d be happy to win any of the other titles.

I admire Ms. Gloria Diaz because she was the first Filipina to win in the Ms. Universe pageant. It also goes to show she represented our country in the best way she can with her beauty, grace, and talent. RICH? BEAUTIFUL? SMART? PLS. EXPLAIN
Being beautiful inside and out because I can use that as a tool to influence others to do good.

WHAT’S THE BEST THING ABOUT JOINING BB. PILIPINAS?
The best thing about joining Bb. Pilipinas is having fun and gaining a lot of friends. We are also doing this for a good cause– to help in the upliftment of our less fortunate brothers and sisters.

WHAT IS THE BEST THING ABOUT BEING A FILIPINA?
The best thing about being a Filipina is the conservative ways they were brought up and the traditional manners that they grew up which I think is unique and admirable worldwide.

HOW DO YOU STAY BEAUTIFUL?
I always stay focused and I have a positive outlook in life.

A sexy woman knows how to carry herself well, poised and acts with grace and elegance. A sexy woman is also confident.

Of all the places I have visited, Sagada is my favorite place because I am amazed at the beauty of their rice terraces. I love exploring the caves there, too. Whenever I’m there I just feel at one with nature.

My mom. I’m going to thank her for all the support and love she has given and continues to give me.

I would be so happy to win any of the 3 because they are all equally prestigious but I would choose Bb. Pilipinas Universe because it is my dream. I am really determined to win it to represent my country with the best of my abilities and possibly win the international crown, Ms. Universe 2005.

Participating in this celebrated beauty pageant is a great venue for my self-development.

WHAT IS THE BEST THING ABOUT BEING A FILIPINA?
Being an embodiment of the Filipino ideas of femininity, having delicadeza, grace, faith in the Lord, patience, and sense of gratitude to her fellowmen.

HOW DO YOU STAY BEAUTIFUL?
I exercise at least three times a week. I refrain from smoking and eating oily and deep fried food and of course I maintain a good hygiene.

Someone in touch with her sensuality. Someone who is confident in her abilities and who stands for what she believes in.

WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE DESTINATION IN THE COUNTRY?
Tagaytay. It is the most convenient destination that can make one feel relaxed and rejuvenated. The cool mountain breeze and the lush surroundings is what will keep one form coming back.

Aside from my beloved family, I’d call my agent, Jonas Gaffud, because he has been my mentor who taught me how to be strong and competitive.

Karla Bautista, not only because she is a friend but also because of her determination and faith to make the sacrifices to get where she is right now.

Being rich is a matter of perceiving what’s valuable and important to you. My friends, family, education and faith are the wealth I value the most. Being beautiful means having imperfections and seeing beyond those that makes one diversified and unique. I consider being smart as knowing what you want, making wise choices, and living with the repercussions of such choices.

WHAT’S THE BEST THING ABOUT JOINING BB. PILIPINAS?
Its actually discovering your worth not just aesthetically but with the entirely of your being. You realize your strengths and weaknesses to better deliver yourself come pageant night. I have learned to push myself to be independent and assertive with patience and humility on the side.

WHAT IS THE BEST THING ABOUT BEING A FILIPINA?
I’m most proud of the diversity and values a Filipina possess. With vast and varied cultural influences in our history, the mixture of our beauty appeals to the rest of the world. Our transparent faith gives us a most envious resiliency which other cultures lack.

HOW DO YOU STAY BEAUTIFUL?
I remain beautiful through the constant belief that I AM beautiful. I always believed that in order to be one, you have to first see and feel it with yourself. It should also be coupled with living a healthy and moderate lifestyle.

Sexy is always equated with physical bearing, quick wit, intelligence and extraordinary personality appeal.

Cebu , of course! Cebu being in the center of the country, it’s where everything converges. Its urban living, a serene country side for rest and relaxation is really worth visiting the place.

My mother. I’ll thank her for giving me the opportunity to pursue this endeavor without pressuring me to win. She allowed me to grow independently and make my own choices.
